Five stars. The room is genuinely beautiful. A canopy of hanging greenery and flowers stretches over the dining area, glowing mosaic pendant lamps hang beneath it, and the weathered plaster and brick walls plus caned wood chairs make it feel like a garden courtyard rather than a Manhattan dining room. It’s calm enough to actually hear each other, too. Prim took care of us all night: warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to. The pad Thai had great balance, not too sweet, and my husband’s green chicken curry was rich and properly spiced. The lychee martinis were dangerously good. A lovely evening start to finish. We’ll be back.

We visited this restaurant while in New York and were craving some really spicy, flavorful Asian food—and this place did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, with just the right amount of spice and such authentic, delicious flavors. The portions were perfect in size, and every dish we tried was absolutely yummy. Definitely a great find in New York and a place I would happily visit again. Highly recommended if you’re craving some good, spicy Thai food! 🌶️

Highly recommend the Elephant Roast Combo — a great sampler with chicken satay, fish cakes, spring rolls, and fried meatballs. The three dipping sauces were all delicious, especially the peanut sauce with the satay. The Grilled Jumbo Tiger Shrimp was huge, fresh, and loaded with garlic. The Short Rib Prik Kang was tender, flavorful, and perfect with rice. The Pad Thai was a solid classic, and the Fried Whole Tamarind Branzino was surprisingly unique with two different flavor styles on one fish. Drinks were great too! The Thai Pandan Drink was light and refreshing with a subtle coconut flavor, and the Lychee Thai Iced Tea was a fun twist on traditional Thai tea. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Hell’s Kitchen!

We had a great experience! Although we came with a large group on a busy Friday night & we didn’t have a reservation, we were accommodated after a short wait. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive & helpful. All the dishes we ordered were delicious! I can't wait to come back & try more items from the menu. The pineapple fried rice deserves special accolades for being served in a half-cut fresh pineapple. Overall, an amazing Thai spot I highly recommend.

Elephant Ear Thai Restaurant brings a vibrant, elevated take on Thai fusion cuisine to NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen. My friend and I ordered 3 dishes and 2 drinks for lunch. The Elephant Roast Combo impressed us with perfectly grilled satay skewers (that tasted like real meat), crispy bites, and balanced flavors with the 3 different sauces. My favorite dish was the Drunken Noodle with Ribeye Steak for its rich flavor and portion size. The Pineapple Fried Rice served in a carved pineapple was both instagrammable and beautifully layered. We paired our meal with a creamy Thai Iced Tea (lychee/green tea available) and fragrant Pandan Cooler Mocktail (alc available). The customer service here is top-notched with affordable prices, and is truly a must-visit for Thai food lovers in NYC.
